Donate – You Can Make A Difference

Thank you for your interest in making a monetary donation to The Center for Children & Young Adults!

We rely heavily upon the generosity of the community. Your donation can help pay for:

  • haircuts
  • groceries
  • birthday gifts
  • shoes
  • school fees and field trips
  • First Aid kits
  • school pictures
  • transportation fuel
  • shelter utilities
  • sheets and towels
  • cleaning supplies (specific items listed on wish list)

If you would like to donate items directly, please check out our wish list for an itemized list of our current needs.

Remember your teen years? Pizza after the football games, skating and bowling outings with friends, movies and arcades, cookouts, slumber parties, community sports leagues, dating, cruising the local shopping mall, fixing up an old car with your dad, manicures and pedicures with mom and sisters, weekend jobs, eating out with friends, birthday celebrations, going to band camp, participating in church youth groups, etc. Today, some things have changed for teens like cell phones, texting, Facebook, and cyber coffee shops, but socializing with friends outside of home is still essential to every teens social and emotional growth and development. As a state–licensed home for children, we have to be creative in our planning and approach to create “average” teen experiences and activities for the youth in our care. Your help is greatly needed and appreciated.
