A Sensitivity & Awareness Orientation Kit for CCIs
Ten foster care teens living in the Rise Up Academy Transitional Living Program at CCYA participated in the Lead4Change Student Leadership Program. The youth chose to create awareness and sensitivity materials for staff working in residential child caring institutes to assist them in better supporting the youth living residential CCI foster care placements who identify as LGBTQ.
