Community Partnerships
Building Capacity, Resources, Services, and Connections for CCYA Youth
Our Partners
It truly takes a community to help young people thrive, and we are grateful for the partners who stand beside us in transforming lives every day.
At The Center for Children & Young Adults (CCYA), we recognize that strong community partnerships are essential to fulfilling our mission and delivering the highest quality of care to the youth we serve. Through meaningful collaborations with government agencies, local businesses, nonprofit organizations, civic groups, faith-based partners, and public and private foundations, we are able to expand opportunities and enhance services for our residents.
These partnerships help ensure that every young person in our care has access to the resources, experiences, support systems, and life-enriching opportunities they need to heal, grow, and succeed. By working together, we can remove barriers, create pathways to independence, and empower youth to build brighter futures.
Goldstar Partners
More than a single project!
Our Goldstar Partners are engaged with CCYA on many levels: Volunteer Projects, Individual Giving, Corporate/Foundation Giving, and event sponsorships!
For more information on how to become a CCYA Goldstar Partner, please contact Angela Thornton, Chief Advancement Officer, at 770-333-9447 x135 or email athornton@ccyakids.org.
DPR CONSTRUCTION - Goldstar Partner
DPR Construction continues to offer critical and sustaining support to CCYA. In addition to helping with facility and grounds projects, like pouring new concrete dumpster pads, constructing a new pergola, and building out a youth cooking kitchen, DPR also awards foundation grants, makes corporate gifts, and host fundraisers to benefit CCYA. Through our Goldstar partnership, DPR sets the bar high bar for Corporate Stewardship.

The Guardian Angels - Goldstar Partner
The Guardian Angels make up CCYA's
amazing volunteer wing. With over 1200 volunteers, the group works
collaboratively to do "acts of kindness" throughout the year for youth living
at CCYA. They provide dinners, holiday celebrations with arts and crafts, dinner
wing nights with trivia games, Christmas morning gifts, annual pool party and
picnic games event, and more! The
Guardian Angels also put on PaJammin', CCYA's annual signature fundraising
event. In 2023 they raised over $300,000 for CCYA. We are so fortunate to have a
Goldstar Partnership with the Guardian Angels. They continue to be essential to
CCYA's ability to provide essential needs of food, shelter, clothing, and
transportation services for youth in our care.
Exclusively serving CCYA, the
Guardian Angels are the sustaining wind beneath our wings!
